While the Einstürzende Neubauten gang is releasing album after album and download after download via their 'Phase' and 'Musterhaus' series, a new commercial album should also be made available later this year. It will be the first since 2004's "Perpetuum Mobile" album (see the interview we had with Blixa on that occasion) which was released via Mute. However, this time they will go completely independent because the new album "Alles wieder offen" out on October 19 will be released without the backing of a label, something the band already had intended to do with "Perpetuum Mobile". Fans who are part of the paid EN community aka the neubauten.org supporter project will get an album with the same tracks plus a number of extra songs and with an optional DVD about the making of the album. Notice that the disitribution will probably not be handled by Mute so we were informed. The release will be followed by a European tour in early 2008. Source: http://www.side-line.com/
