Who is saying that the dark side cannot have pop appeal? Blutengel, with their charismatic front man and mastermind Chris Pohl have always been experts at wrapping dark romantic themes in a catchy electronic packaging. The title track of their latest single, “Lucifer”, is no exception – an addictive track that combines gloomy lyrics with an emotional melody and massive beats that are suitable for any dance floor. Driven by the exciting interplay of Chris Pohl’s powerful dark voice and the heavenly chanting of Ulrike Goldmann, the group conjures up a club anthem that is destined to give you goose bumps. The voting for the NEWCOMER STAGE (www.newcomer-stage.de) contest is finished. After a long check and count of votes the winners are finally certain. The result is tight enough to make us change the procedure. With BRESCHDLENG, KARMA.CONNECT, LAST ONE DYING, MIGHT OF LILITH, STITCH and UNBLEST we have decided to let 6 bands instead of 5 compete for the opening slot. On Wednesday, August 15th at 4 pm, the battle will start off and the winner is to play the Pain Stage opening up SUMMER BREEZE 2007 the day after. Herewith we would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to everybody for his voting!

EDGUY have just been confirmed for another show as special guests of AEROSMITH in Germany. On June 14th they`ll play the Olympiahalle in Munich! On top of this, the boys will also support the U.S. rock legends on June 10th in Butzbach in the Hessentagarena and June 12th in the DM Arena in Karlsruhe.
