Last weekend, supreme Doomheads CANDLEMASS returned to the Stockholm Polar studios to add one song to the forthcoming album. This is what the Swedish slow motion combo had to say: "The brutally heavy “Of stars and smoke” was put down with ease and in a very relaxed working environment. Since the new album won`t be out until next year, there is no need to rush things and the band can take their time to make it a perfect doom metal album." Guitar maestro Mappe Björkman also had to add that “Of stars and smoke” definitely had a vibe of “Epicus...” around it. It sent fucking chills down my spine”. Claus Larsen has chosen Halloween as the perfect releasedate for the mini-album "Faetish" powered by the track "Be My Fetish" which is definitely bound to become an instant hit rapidly dethroning LEAETHER STRIP's recent massive "Suicide Bombers" and "Walking on Volcanos" hits. Included as well next to a bunch of other tracks is the unexpected upgraded 2006 version of Claus Larsen’s hit "Adrenalin Rush", a cover version of MARC ALMOND’s "Tears Run Rings" and yet a surprising homage song to FAD GADGET & co with "Frank Tovey Taught Me Things". 10 tracks in total ! - Details

After the instant succes of "The Gemini Prophecies", Dominique from NEIKKA RPM returned to the shadowy catacombs of New York to start preparation on the "Rise of the 13th Serpent" album. Over the curse of some 30 months, Dominique invited various guests into her NY studio: Claus Larsen (LEAETHER STRIP), Claus Kruse (PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE), J3 (à;GRUMH...), Len Lemeire (IMPLANT), DJ Rexx Arkana (BRUDERSCHAFT / FGFC820) and a unique spoken-word performance from the acclaimed Japanese cyberpunk author Kenji Siratori, all of which perfectly contrast Dominique's whispery incantations. After recent compilation appearances and remix works the first official MIND:STATE release will now reach the masses. This October the Swedish oneman project will break the silence by offering you a first insight preview of what his forthcoming album "Decayed, Rebuilt" will sound like. On many occasions MIND:STATE received eloquent comparisons with prestigious bands like VNV NATION, NAMNAMBULU and especially ASSEMBLAGE 23. And it’s true that fans of soulful melodic electronics with a sharp edge will not resist to the shimmering darkness of Per Holmström’s songs. By teaming up in studio with Belgian producer Len Lemeire (ANNE CLARK, IMPLANT, UNTER NULL, etc.), MIND:STATE has been able to create a kicking result. The "bbbc2x" DJ EPCD holds 4 club tracks, each drastically revisited by dancefloor invaders like CUT.RATE.BOX, STATE OF THE UNION, IMPLANT and AURAL VAMPIRE.
