Being quite close to the long awaited event we would like to take the opportunity to put together the most important information you might need to know.
You just only have today to order the tickets online. Our online shop on www.summer-breeze.de will be open until August, 8th 2006. In case you keep ordering there please make sure money will be transferred directly since it has to be on our account until August, 11th 2006. Despite that on our website you can find plenty of ticket counters still selling tickets. By the way, daily tickets will be charged 25,-€ and will be available at the festival ticket counter on each day you need the ticket for.

We thought it was about time for a newsletter. You might have gone on vacation, so we've decided to make it easy to keep track of the Gathering ;)
TOURING
The band is reaching the end of the summer festivals tour with Mera Luna on August 12th and the Sziget Festival in Hungary on the 14th! During this festival, visitor will maybe have the chance to grab one of the 5000 copies of the promo split single CD with Green Lizard. This CD features a special radio edit of "Alone" and the track "Walk Over Water" by Green Lizard. You can read a bit more about this on the website.

Tour will resume in September when the Gathering hits the roads of France, with small detours via Switzerland [Pratteln] and Italy [Milano]. Pyro from Denmark will support the band. Then from mid-September till mid-October, you'll have the chance to catch them in the Netherlands as well as in Germany [Hamburg and Berlin]. The band is currently busy to schedule dates in Greece and has confirmed they will go to Turkey end of November.

REM are to release a 2-CD and DVD anthology, 'And I Feel Fine', chronicling their IRS Records output between 1984 and 1987. The CD part of the release contains classic tracks from the era packaged with a 21-track rarities disc containing previously unreleased songs, live recordings, alternate takes, and mixes. The DVD, entitled 'When the Light Is Mine', features TV performances, interviews, and outtakes alongside all 11 videos the band made for IRS.Source: Newsletter
