As one of the longest standing bands still proudly waving the flag of New York Hardcore, SICK OF IT ALL have made their mark as one of the cornerstones of NYHC, proving that heart, hard work and dedication to hardcore is about more than just the music and an image, it’s a way of life.
“After discussing our situation quite a bit, we realized that we needed to be on a label that was run by a fan of our music,” says drummer Armand Majidi. “We found that in ABACUS, because the head of the label wanted to sign us all the way back in 1993, and hasn't lost his enthusiasm for SOIA. That's dedication - something rarely found in this industry. We're excited to be a part of something that's just taking off.

Visions of Atlantis announce the professional soprano singer Melissa Ferlaak as the new female singer. She is 26 years old from Minneapolis (Minesotta - USA) graduated with a Master's Degree from New England Conservatory in Boston , Massachusetts in 2003 for vocal performance.
She has worked in the operatic field, most recently as Musetta in La Boheme , and has been singing with Aesma Daeva.
New VoA concerts are being scheduled at the moment, and the songwriting for the upcoming album is nearly finished!

New Draconian guitarist Daniel Arvidsson released the debutalbum with his one-man Black Metal project SCORCHED. The album is called Forever Dying Sun and was released by U.S label Regimental Records, and is now available to purchase. This agressive and truly unholy creation was produced by Draconian guitarist and songwriter Johan Ericson. Four of the lyrics was written by vocalist and lyricist Anders Jacobsson; also of Draconian.

Due to the new contract the gothic band will completely re-record the debut album to get more fresh material on it. The recordings for the yet-unnamed-debut will start in the end of this summer at Woodbine Garden studio with producer Teemu Aalto.
The album will be mixed by Anssi Kippo at Astia Studio. Mastering will naturally happen at the famous Finnvox. The release date for the album is set to November 2005. At the time of releasing the album there will be also two videos coming up.
