Right after wrapping up their last European headlining tour world’s hyperspeed death metal outfit KRISIUN completed the work for their upcoming album „AssassiNation“ which is tentatively scheduled for a late February release in Europe and North America. After recording two albums in their native country Brazil the trio went back to Stage One Studios in Germany’s B�hne to work with Andy Claassen – a winning team very similar to the one that has already produced their 2000 classic “Conquerors Of Armageddon”.
“”AssassiNation” is the heaviest album we have ever done. I can assure you that it was a top quality recording at Stage One Studios, this album captures all the fury and brutality of the band's live performances and it’s also a great combination of heaviness and precision that we never had on our albums before. The album will be out in the beginning of 2006, and we're definitely gonna make a relentless round of live shows in Europe, so I see you all extreme metal maniacs on the road! Get ready for the “AssassiNation”!” Max and Krisiun.

Ex-Nightwish frontwoman Tarja Turunen solo performancesAccording to a posting on the Tarja Turunen Fan site (http://fan-sites.org/tarja/) Ex-NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen will have small role in the upcoming Finnish TV production "Pääroolissa". Turunen will reportedly play the part of a "bad mother." The show will begin airing later this year via Finland's TV1.
As previously reported, Turunen will perform the following setlist on her Christmas tour, which is scheduled to kick off December 1 in Savonlinna, Finland:

Dear friends,
I wish you all a nice advent season without stress, tranquil festive days and a happy New Year.
As an x-mas-present and in a way in anticipation of the fourthcomming Album, which will be released during the next year, we’ll give you the chance to download free of charge an exclusive song from December the 6 th until December the 14 th. The song will reveal a bit about the style of the new Album. It will be more electronic and partly more gloomy, but the typical elements of Angelzoom will be maintaint. But you should listen yourselves. I hope that the new song will please you. You can send your opinion per e-mail or you may use the guest book.
Work on the new Album is progressing well. 6 tracks are almost ready and 7 additional ones are on the best way. We will present 13 songs on the new Album.I can not reveal much but I can say that this time I will present some interesting duets. On my side will be again Bernd Wendlandt from Valicon Producer Forum who will be responsible for the production, the sound and the music.
