Skáld - Live 2022
In the three years since its inception, SKÁLD has taken an unexpected path through the international musical landscape by breathing new life into the Viking spirit. Founded in 2018 when producer-composer Christophe Voisin-Boisvinet brought together some talents - among them the lead singer Justine Galmiche - to form an immersive musical project; SKÁLD embraces the ancestral spirit of the ancient skalds who chanted of the legends surrounding the peoples of the North and their gods. Their music is characterized by singing in Old Norse and the use of ancient instruments including shamanic drums, talharpa, jouhikko and more.

‘The Raging River’ feels more like a bridge. A midpoint that needs to be crossed so we can finish what we started with ‘A dawn to fear’. It’s a seamless continuation of the writing process and the creative mindset that has guided us for the last couple of years. It’s been an interesting as well as an introspective way of working, having our instinct leading the way and then having to figure out where it takes us. But not only has it been a linear journey, but some aspects of it is also clearly circular.

Since their founding in 1981, DEAD CAN DANCE have drawn on at least 800 years of European music tradition and what is laboriously referred to as world music. DEAD CAN DANCE have always fused many different elements together in their very own style. From Rock to Medieval melodies and traditional Gaelic folk, from Arabic harmony and Eastern European or African rhythms, parts were taken over as well as from Gothic or Post Punk.

Uriah Heep - 50th Anniversary Tour
From the aptly titled 1970 debut album ‘Very ‘Eavy… Very ‘Umble’ through to their last magnificent CD ‘Outsider’, and DVD extravaganza ‘Live at KOKO, London’, URIAH HEEP has seen more ups and downs during its 50 year history than the biggest of all roller coasters. URIAH HEEP have been responsible for the most elevated and intelligent use of vocals in a heavy metal context amongst the major bands inventing the genre in the 1970s. It is for this reason HEEP were coined the BEACH BOYS of Heavy Metal, and their influence is there for all to see in other bands including the likes of SWEET AND QUEEN.
