That it is busy in the gothmetal scene at the moment, is for sure. In the dutch underground there are longer rumours of a new project. Now the first signs are there. Liv Kristine (Atrocity, Leaves Eyes) recorded a duest with Marco Hietala (Nightwish,Tarot).Former Within Temptation keyboarder Martijn Westerhold visited the Mastersound Studio. Together with producer Alexander Krull the recordings of Liv Kristine's vocals for two songs of Westerhold’s new project Delain were done. One of the tracks is a duet with Marco Hietala, male singer and bass player of Nightwish. The album of Delain will be released on Roadrunner Records in 2006.

Due to an unfortunate series of circumstances, Autumn has had to wave goodbye to the joint European tour with Epica and Xystus.
Autumn says: ,,We regret not being able to travel with our friends and make new ones on the road, but see no other alternative but to cancel at this stage. "
Altough the tour is canceled, there is no sad news from the dutch gothmetal band:
,, Instead, we intend to work like mules the next couple of months in order to get our new material recorded and to hit the road extensively upon release of the new Autumn CD! Naturally, other shows will go ahead as planned, see updated show list below! Our sincere apologies, we WILL make it up to you!"

After the short statement from Tarja yesterday, she wrote a letter on her own website in Finnish. Underneath you can find the English translation.Since last Sunday morning, I have been asked to express my position by magazines, newspapers, radio and TV stations, fan clubs and fans from Finland and from all over the world. So many in total that it is physically impossible for me to find the time to reply to them all individually. Hence I decided to put down a couple of words in this text to let my fans, family and friends and the public know how I feel after the recent events.

After the recording of the upcoming dvd ' End Of An Era" -live release in Hartwall-Arena, Helsinki, there is some sad news. As you can imagine, the atmosphere in the Arena was wild but also quite blue. This was the ending for a one and a half year lasting "Once" -World Tour. Nightwish wishes to thank everybody for an unbelievable tour.Unfortunately the title "End Of An Era" also holds a deeper meaning. The open letter, which was given to Tarja after the show, tells it all.
