The Dutch gothmetal band Orphanage doesn't exist anymore. The band who became recently well known with their last record 'Driven' decided to stop immidiatly. George, grunter and frontmen of the band also did a gig together with Within Temptation. They stood on WAO and did a lot of gigs like the metalfest tour in 2004.

They will join Akon, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Robbie Williams and The Black Eyed Peas at the live ceremony, to be hosted by Sacha Baron Cohen character, 'Borat', from the Atlantic Pavilion, Lisbon on November 3, 2005. All MTV Europe Music Awards categories will be voted for online by MTV's audiences, apart from Best Video and The Free Your Mind Award, which will be chosen by MTV. Dark Light - the new album from HIM - is in stores internationally since Monday the 26th, and in the US since Tuesday the 27th. The first 100,000 copies of the album come with a special heartagram shrinkwrap. There is also a limited edition that you can get in selected stores that comes in a hardback cover with a booklet containing special artwork and handwritten lyrics by Ville.

Extreme Metal outfit ARCH ENEMY have a new guitar player in their ranks who replaces Chris Amott for the band’s massive touring activities starting in early October. The new axe-wizard’s name is Fredrik Åkesson who already showed his talent for renowned artists like Talisman, Krux, John Norum, Tiamat and also in his own band Southpaw. His comment on joining forces with ARCH ENEMY: “I was really thrilled when Michael Amott called me up and gave me the opportunity to play with ARCH ENEMY. I am excited about going on tour with them, and to meet you all. C-Ya out there - it's time to burn!"Furthermore the band has just made a kick start on this year’s Ozzfest tour: the critically acclaimed new album “Doomsday Machine” has sold impressive 35.000 copies in the States, dominated the sales at the Ozzfest and made ARCH ENEMY this year’s standout, breakthrough artist at the festival.
