Now it is official: The Highfield Festival leaves the Stausee Hohenfelden but don’t you worry. Firstly there’ll be a Highfield Festival in 2010 of course; only at a different location, and secondly the Highfield wouldn’t be the Highfield if there wouldn’t be a big fest to say goodbye. Hence, we’ve enhanced the festival line-up around DIE TOTEN HOSEN, ARCTIC MONKEYS, MAXIMO PARK and FARIN URLAUB RACING TEAM with some more top class live acts: The Californian Punkrock veterans THE OFFSPRING will be in just as the recently re-united SELIG. Furthermore the Hardcore Punkers of AFI, the Indie-Poppers of TOMTE and the good temper guarantors OHRBOOTEN will make up a party nobody will soon forget.

2009 is a really important and busy year for the New Jersey Punk institution THE BOUNCING SOULS. The band celebrates 20 years of pulsating, funny and heartfelt Punk Rock with exclusive surprises for old and new fans, whereas it might be right that the music industry in the last 20 years has become a little dusty so THE BOUNCING SOULS decided to stir up that dust with a vengeance. It’s almost 16 years since the first album was released on the band’s own label Chunksaah Records. And true to the Do-it-Yourself spirit of the early days the band will release a brand new song every month – Of course on Chunksaah Records! The songs will be available monthly first as digital downloads and then all 3 months, for the collectors, as 7” Vinyl (With 4 songs each). - Details

HAGGARD is a Symphonic Death Metal band founded in 1991 in Germany which connects successfully folk, Renaissance, classic, medieval music with modern Metal. Currently the band exists of twelve members - however, shortly before publication of her album ‘Awaking the Centuries’ in 2000 they were already 21 musicians! All songs are written by singer and guitarist Asis Nasseri.
