"The High End of Low" is the upcoming seventh studio album by Marilyn Manson. It was recorded in the Hollywood Hills throughout 2008. Sean Beavan, who mixed "Antichrist Superstar", "Mechanical Animals", and "Eat Me, Drink Me", is co-producer of the album. As of yet, an official release date has not been announced, though a May 2009 release has been reported. The singer explained that the title referred to "a self-described state of being that I'm in. You're going to be fucking freaked. It's the shit". The follow up album to 2007's "Eat Me, Drink Me" is currently in the mixing stage. Manson will be filming a nine minute long video for the album's first single, "I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies", later this month. He describes the song as being "severely sadistic (...) basically it's murder, sex, death, the end".Source: Side Line Magazine
