The from KORN detected lads Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal from Jacksonville/Florida are back! Not only out of the speakers but also at stage! When I'm right, the last show in Germany was at the Terremoto Festival in Weeze in 2003. And now, from May 2009 they'll touring around the world again. A new album in original instrumentation was still announced for 2009 and hopefully we could listen some songs in preview at their gigs.

Mortiis, the electronic metal band from Notodden (Norway), returns with "The Great Deceiver" album. Expect a mix of techno, industrial, metal, punk and progressive rock which the band describes as being "decidedly '09". The album is the follow-up to 2007's "Some Kind of Heroin" (Earache Records). The band dedicated 2 years to create this album which was produced by Mortiis and Levi, and co-mixed by the duo and Chris Vrenna (Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails). Music videos for the tracks "Doppelganger" and "Zeitgeist" were filmed by Robyn Von Swank, the renowned photographer. Important detail, Mortiis no longer wears the latex mask that was the visual face of the band during its early live performances. - Details

Depeche Mode's twelfth studio album, Sounds Of the Universe (Mute) will be released on April 21st. Alongside a standard CD format, Depeche Mode has announced that Sounds Of The Universe will also be released as a Special Edition CD/DVD and a Deluxe Box Set that will include a host of exclusive material:Three CDs containing the album, bonus songs and remixes, as well as 14 demos available exclusively - a career first for Depeche Mode.

VNV Nation's next release, "Reformation 1", will be released on April 17th in Europe and a few weeks later in North America.VNV Nation's next release, "Reformation 1", will be released on April 17th in This is a release that's especially intended for VNV Nation's fans.It will come in the form of a 3-disc, high quality Boxset containing; a 12 track live CD, a 12 track CD of remixes, rare or previously unreleased material, a DVD with 8 video edits put together by different people between 2005-08, and a book of live images as well as a wealth of information about the tracks themselves. The Box Set will be limited to 18,000 copies worldwide (9,000 copies with a PAL format DVD for Europe and 9,000 copies with an NTSC format DVD for North America). This release will also coincide with the creation of Anachron America, VNV Nation's own label in North America.
