The time seems to have come. Summer has taken over. At least the weather forecast leaves that sort of impression. Let's pray to god (or whoever you use to pray to!) it will not change until the end of August. Time will tell.

Less notional than the weather is the result of the SUMMER BREEZE ticket sales: sold out! Just a few local ticket masters may have left a small contingent which will be gone within the next days certainly. So you better rush to win the day. To find a listing of the remaining ticket masters please check http://www.summer-breeze.de/ and click "tickets".

Meanwhile we have managed to create a top 20 list of the applicants for the newcomer stage contest. A bit of work, really. But we have made it. The chosen bands will have to face the SUMMER BREEZE community with immediate effect. You can vote your favourite band until June, 14th. Please note that only votes evaluating for all bands can be counted.

Talking about bands, we went on completing our billing. WALLS OF JERICHO, CARNIFEX, ANAAL NATHRAKH, CYNIC, THE RED CHORD and BENIGHTED are the six new bands we have confirmation for.

Within the next couple of days we will be starting previously announced works on the BREEZE site. The so far one day parking lot will be gravelled. Due to this we have the option to place 40 sluices next to each other instead of having only 16 behind each other on the street like we had it last year. This change of concept in addition to some other process changes will enable us to do the car checking way faster than so far and keeps us independent from any change of weather. This way we shall be able to avoid the same traffic situation as last year.

Regarding the band matter there is news from SiLVERDUST records to announce. This month will see three new releases. On June, 12th the snotty rockers PSYCHOPUNCH will present their latest studio work "Death By Misadventure". Their Punk'n'Roll needs no further explanations, does it? NIM VIND from Canada has also created a new album. "The Stillness Illness" will see the light of stores on June, 19th. This rich of melodies Horror Punk contains way more than this term may promise. You will be astonished. Last but not least BURY ME DEEP are to end this month on June, 26th by releasing the long awaited "Nearly Down". Michelle Darkness, who is known to the most of you due to his work with END OF GREEN, and his mates have found an impressing unique and emotional way to combine darkness and beauty. In case you mistrusting this all you will have the chance to get your own idea of them on the BREEZE. Whatever band may be your favourite they are all worthwhile seeing them play live!

Another matter we would like to pick up on is the seemingly growing negative accompaniments around the festivals. The Rewe battle of 2008 has been discussed sufficiently in the forum. Some of the points of view there did really shock us though. In addition to that there is more incidents on other, smaller festivals. What we would like to point out is we do condemn any acting alike! If such action is necessary to impress your mates then it is about time to urgently think about this.

By this we have reached the end again. We have just entered the crunch mode and will keep you informed as soon as there is news to be spread.

May a summer breeze be always with you while it is that warm.
