Hall of Sermon is proud to announce the following news from LACRIMOSA: Four years ago we released with ‘Lichtgestalt’ our last studio album up until now and subsequently we were on tour for 1.5 years during which we had several memorable encounters with our audience from Berlin to Moscow and from Peking to Buenos Aires. Many of these impressions were being captured in the concert film ‘Lichtjahre’. But all these people, their emotions and enthusiasm for our music left marks leading to a close connection with them and which were exciting sources of inspiration for us in the end. That’s why we’re all the more pleased to release on 8th May 2009 our new studio album, whose musical and contextual centre is made up by one word that, in its variety of individual perception, still remains clear in its essence and therefore is the fitting title for this album: ‘Sehnsucht’.
