After the Californian Punk rock superstars, with their 2003 album ‘Splinter’, for the first time missed the Top Ten of the US Charts, the quartet succeeded in the triumphal comeback with their newest album ‘Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace’ in the en most-sold albums of the US. But not only the fans went nuts, also the critics attested Dexter Holland, Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, Greg K. and Pete Parada to have delivered one of their best works to date with the new album. After the song ‘Hammerhead’, the band gave away for free i.e. through their website as download, ‘You’re Gonna Go Far Kid’ is going to be the next single.- Details

December is not only the time, when a big guy with a white beard, on a reindeer skid, delivers presents, it usually is also the month, where many fans of dark music travel to Belgium as it’s time again for the BIM Fest. This year, the festival goes into its 7th round and will come up with lots of highlights, leading the way with a performance of the absolute legendary formation THE KLINIK, who’ll return from the dead and present a mixture of classics and brand-new material. But the fest doesn’t stop there already. The organizers invited no one less than VOMITO NEGRO for the 7th issue of the festival, who’re working on a new album right now and surely will present new material as they already did on the Gothic Festival earlier this year.

On January 23rd (UK: January 26th), 2009, German alternative rockers THE PUSSYBATS are to release their long-awaited debut album "Famous Last Songs“ worldwide via Black Rain Records. It has been produced by Chai Deveraux (known as the guitarist of the industrial-glam-rock-band JESUS ON EXTASY) and Hahn&Hahn, a team which has already worked with acts like NENA, KIM WILDE and the FARMER BOYS.
