Before the long-awaited new album of Swedish Synth Pop legend Elegant Machinery is due to hit the shops in autumn, the band is spicing up this year’s summer with a new single. The title track “Move” is a picture perfect Pop-anthem – driven by clubby beats, the smooth voice of Robert Enforsen croons through an airy melody that is simply irresistible and catchy as hell. The band again mingles old and new in their very special way: solid and warm analog sounds and a melody that seems to have sprung straight from the golden era of Electro Pop in the mid Eighties are embedded in a production that is firmly based in the here and now. - Details

Earlier this day we announced the festival nearly being sold out and now, the Amphi Festival is sold-out since today. The big reservation contingent of tickets for the box office was sold out today within a few hours. We’re very sorry for all the people who weren’t able to get a ticket anymore. There are no weekend-tickets, and no 1-Day tickets for Saturday available anymore! Only for Sunday (20.07.) there are a few 1-Day tickets left, which can be bought at the festival site (box office).We would like to thank you, for this overwhelming interest in our Amphi Festival 2008!

There’s really nothing to complain about, CYNDI LAAUPER is always good for a surprise. After the pop icon put some of their greatest hits amongst are ‘Time After Time’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ und ‘True Colors’ in some whole new costumes on her last album ‘The Body Acoustic’ (2006) with the help of very interesting guests like Shaggy, Jeff Beck or Ani DiFranco and took a role on the Broadway in the ‘Dreigroschenoper’, the New York based musician will release a new studio album with ‘Bring Ya to the Brink’ on 1st August 2008. It’s the first CYNDI LAUPER album since 1997 that is exclusively comprised of new songs.- Details

THE VERVE, Richard Ashcroft (vocals), Simon Jones (bass), Nick McCabe (guitar) and Peter Salisbury (drums) release their first single in over ten years on Friday 1st August 2008. Entitled 'Love Is Noise', the single is released on Capitol/EMI Music and is their first single release since 1998's ‘Sonnet’. To hear ‘Love Is Noise’ go to www.myspace.com/thevervetv.Produced by the band and recorded at State Of The Ark and Metropolis studio in London, 'Love Is Noise' will surprise and thrill even the most ardent Verve fan and looks set to become an anthem for 2008. The single is taken from their new album ‘Forth’ which is due for release on Friday 15th August 2008.
