Dark Area Festival
On 2nd October, the Dark Area festival goes into its third round and promises another party and concert highlight in black for the North-Hessian Gothic scene in the night prior to German Unification Day. Kassel’s Nachthallen present nine live acts this year, numerous DJs and an enormous social program on 2600 square metres indoor area, two stages and two party floors. As headliners on stage we could engage DIE KRUPPS and DIARY OF DREAMS, after QNTAL, SOKO FRIEDHOF and ROZENCRANTZ excited with exclusive indoor festival performances. On the industrial stage such top acts as GRENDEL, XOTOX, NOISUF-X and SAM will make the hall tremble.

Out now via Archive Media Publishing is the Nine Inch Nails DVD "The Broadcast Archives". "The Broadcast Archives" is a collection of live performances of the industrial rock act at the Woodstock Festival in 1994. The collection holds 17 tracks featuring a mud-covered Reznor in the best Woodstock tradition. "The Self Destruct" tour in support of the "The Downward Spiral" album reached its widest mainstream audience with the mud-drenched performance at Woodstock that was broadcast on Pay-Per-View and seen in as many as 24 million homes. Nine Inch Nails received considerable mainstream success thereafter, performing with significantly higher production values and adding theatrical visual elements to the live show.

Once more the festival team likes to thank all the attendees and helpers making the first Blackfield Festival a memorable event. Promoters received many feedback and encouragement and they’re happy to slip those suggestions into the preparations for 2009 which have already started. With the headliner NITZER EBB for the second neuWerk Festival in Düsseldorf on 27th December 2008 is complete. After the incredible start of the neuWerk Festival in December 2007, we can announce two festivals for the end of the year.On 26th Dec Berlin’s first neuWerk Festival will take place at the Postbahnhof before we stop at Düsseldorf’s Stahlwerk again on 27th Dec. Furthermore we welcome DIARY OF DREAMS as highlight in cooperation with the befriended Contribe agency. The band will be co-headliner for both shows.
