Now that the football championship is over we can attend to other matters again. Time is running and ticket sales keep on going perfectly well. As this does not seem to change we can only advise everybody without a ticket to get one as soon as possible. Most of the 3 days tickets are gone already and the 3.000 tickets left will probably be gone within the next days. And this is not a try to push sales. It's a matter of fact. So hurry up before it is too late.

Enter the Apocalyptica "Live The Dream" contest for your chance to join the band on tour as their special guest vocalist.
The Grand Prize Winner will perform the hit "I'm Not Jesus" live on the stage with the band - 5 shows the first week of August, including a main stage appearance at OZZFEST, August 9 in Dallas, TX. The winner will be flown from their home into the first show, then back home after the tour. The Scottish act Simple Minds have been busy writing new songs for their new studio album, and apparently have enough material for two new albums. The band released their last studio album "Black and White 050505", 3 years ago. Front man Jim Kerr: "The (Glasgow) writing sessions have somehow taken over our entire lives, but they have worked out perfectly. I am having difficulty in remembering the last time we had such an abundance of material prior to recording. We may even have enough songs of sufficient quality for two albums." Kerr says the new work is similar to the stack of tracks on "Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Call" - a double LP set assembled from one session by the band in 1981. - Details

The French industrial / electronic band Die Form informs that they are working very hard on the new tracks for the next Die Form album. The band also announces a "best of" remixes for their 30th anniversary. And if that wasn't enough, a special vinyl box-set including ultra rare tracks from the "Bain Total" cassettes is also in preparation. Die Form formed in 1977-78 and is the primary project of the French electronic musician and multimedia artist Phillipe Fichot. He began by recording a number of experimental cassette releases in the late 1970s, with the first Die Form album "Die Puppe" appearing in 1982. The band's last release was "The Bach project" which was released in January 2008. The album was obviously devoted to Bach and was presented live for the first time during the annual Bach Days in the German city of Leipzig, where they got invited. Source: Side Line Magazine
