The history of the relationship between man and machine is a history of symbolic interpretation and design of this relationship. But on the third volume of the Ultra Dark Radio-Compilation it has less to do with omnipotent feelings than with the contrast of various musical genres. So on the first part of the compilation mainly machines are running their riot during the second part brings handmade uitarsounds to the fans' ears.

*** The Search: Distant (Single) und Saturnine Songs ***The Swedish band The Search wraps catchy pop melodies into a gloomy cloak, creating escaping the daily grey routines. When the press is talking about The Search, they speak of a beautiful retro-mix of wave and rock in the vein of The Cure and Joy Division. The band does not deny their roots, but take pleasure in paraphrasing them in their own slightly deranged and atmospheric way.

Kinetik Control’s debut album "Lack Of Divine Inspiration" will be released in Finland on 28th of May. The band has been featured in such mags as Metal Hammer UK (quoting MH UK on the coming album: ...and if the bods who are into them are anything to go by, it could well be a highlight of the year) and Sonic Seducer last year.
It’s still almost two months to the record release party, but already for example MySpace Finland wants the band to be their “Artist of the Week” and Nokia Musicstore wants Kinetik Control’s song to be on their front page as Nokia’s ‘Download this song for free’ for a whole week! These are just for starters and the hype in Finland is soon to get out of control.
