The Tumor has been eradicated! He had long used up all his resources for unleashing electronic devastation on mankind and was therefore removed from the face of the Earth in one final, deafening operation. But just as mankind deemed itself to be safe from this madness and was beginning to see Chris Pohl as a mere protagonist of sophisticated dark Pop music, a new two-headed beast was silently rising from the smouldering ashes of the most party-compatible cancerous growth in history. Chris Pohl’s mad alter ego took control of its master again and started forcing him to perform new antics in his sonic laboratory. Needing a partner in crime, Chris instantly fell upon his fellow Terminal-Choice-collaborator Gordon M. à a guy whom he had always known to be one beer short of a six-pack: Miss Construction was born! - Details

Nine Inch Nails is pleased to announce the expansion of the Ghosts project into the visual world. The band has teamed up with YouTube to host a "film festival" around Ghosts. The concept is for you to take whatever tracks you feel inspired by and create what you feel should accompany them visually. You will be able to see all of the submissions, and a team (including Trent) will be sorting through them and setting aside ones they feel are exceptional. Eventually (within a couple of months?) we hope to present a virtual "film festival" with Trent and some special guests presenting selections of your work.- Details

Moby’s new album is a winking time travel through almost 25 years of dance music history which plays unbiased with all styles on “Last Nights” and wraps it into a modern musical robe. The single “Disco Lies” pushes us back into the early 90s.Moby himself says: “I was in San Francisco in the early 90s and listened to DJs like Marc Farina. That was pretty interesting because the Dance Scene in New York was marked by a rather aggressive sound at that time. In New York either an older, softer House style or a pretty aggressive rave was played. In San Francisco, the sound was way more inspired by Disco styles. It was overall a bit softer and reminded me of the times in the clubs of New York in the early to mid 80s. There was this unique underground dance scene no one outside of Lower Manhattan was interested in. For me “Disco Lies” is reminiscing to the ‘Paradise Garage’ nights with Larry Levan or Tony Humphreys, who worked as DJs in that club “Zanzibar” in Newark. These songs, consisting of cold electronic elements, but with a passionate diva voice singing over it.
