In its current issue, the respected British “Rock Music Bible” Kerrang! Attends a two-sided live report to the great Black Symphony concert of WITHIN TEMPTATION taking place on 7th February at the sold-out Ahoy in Rotterdam, which was (Literally) bombastic. The show was just awesome. Never before, so many people have worked with so much lifeblood for a gig on stage as well as backstage according to singer Sharon den Adel. The Metropole Orchestra was responsible for the perfect fusion of Rock and Classic. As a special highlight, Sharon’s duet partner Keith Caputo was also live on stage.More Information: http://www.wt-music.de/ / http://www.within-temptation.com/ / http://www.gunrecords.de/

Here it is now, the 6th album of SCHANDMAUL which goes by the melodious and promising name ‘Anderswelt’. And it does its name justice. ‘Anderswelt’ takes you away into a parallel world of fairies and myths. The lyrics deal with ancient topics and tell stories, everyone can also relate to his/her personal life. The music is pure and honest as usual. SCHANDMAUL again managed to create a perfect harmony between funky bass lines, mighty Metal riffs, cracking drums and lovely, vivid bagpipe, symphonia and flute melodies. The album provides a feast or the ears. ‘Aderswelt’ is a worthy successor of the last SCHANDMAUL album ‘Mit Leib und Seele’ which even reached the Top Ten of the German Album Charts. Corresponding to the release on 4th April 2008, there will be a tour as well.- Details

Announced out of the blue and out since yesterday is the brand new Nine Inch Nails release "Ghosts I-IV". "Ghosts I - IV" is a 36 track instrumental collection with almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period in fall 2007. And as expected, Nine Inch Nails decided to take advantage of the current climate by presenting the release under various formats, including a free 9-track DRM-free, high-quality download or yet a deluxe $300 package. The free 9-track version has been uploaded by the band itself on various torrent sites, because they believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method. They add: "We believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them. We encourage you to share the music of 'Ghosts I' with your friends, post it on your website, play it on your podcast, use it for video projects, etc."
