Alfa Matrix welcomes another legend to its roster: TRISOMIE 21BRUSSELS - After collaborations with acts like FRONT 242, LEAETHER STRIP, ANNE CLARK or yet MENTALLO & THE FIXER, Belgian label Alfa Matrix ( http://www.alfa-matrix.com/ )is proud to announce the signing of another cult electronic band: TRISOMIE 21.
Formed in 1980 by the Lomprez brothers, the French act TRISOMIE 21 belongs to the legendary pioneers of the cold electronic music movement together with luminaries such as FRONT 242, NEON JUDGEMENT , THE YOUNG GODS, etc. Since their first releases, their music often brought comparisons to the cold wave movements lead by bands like THE CURE, JOY DIVISION, DURUTTI COLUMN, etc.

Their debut album “STRONGHOLD” was certified the most successful German alternative album by the official German Alternative Charts, DAC. With their second album “CODED MESSAGE: 12” and the single “RICHTFEST”, the band was declared to be the third successful “DAC SINGLE ACT NATIONAL 2005”, right behind RAMMSTEIN and German cult band DEINE LAKAIEN. Up to the present day, they have been playing gigs and festivals in more than 25 different countries, had number 1 hits in all relevant album charts, and their celebrated remix cooperations (for instance, “DAS LETZTE STREICHHOLZ” and “TRÄUMST DU” with OOMPH!) even became top 10 hits in Germany’s mainstream MEDIA CONTROL CHARTS.

The American Band ASSEMBLAGE 23 will return to Europe from December 6th to December 20th. The first show has already been confirmed: December 8th in Moscow, Russia. More dates will be announced soon!

The new single “The Plague” will be released on September 21st, the album “Nekrolog 43” will follow on October 26th. An extensive tour is coming. First shows will be held in November in Belgrade and Zurich, Germany will follow in January 2008.
