Our buddies from http://www.depeche-mode.com/ inform that Depeche Mode are likely to start recording sooner than expected, with a new album possibly out as soon as late next year, in 2008. As a result Dave Gahan might not tour to promote his second solo album "Hourglass". Instead he would be getting back together with the rest of the band to start work on a new album. Martin Lee Gore has already written "a generous helping of songs" and it is expected that Gahan will contribute some of his left overs from the writing sessions with Christian Eigner. The news has of yet not been officially confirmed but that is no surprise so history tells us. Let us remind you that Gahan will also be singing on the Mirror project.Source: http://www.side-line.com/
