The gossip factory has been working overtime these last few days, but now the time has come at last to name names: Graspop Metal Meeting proudly presents the first batch of 33 brands to grace the bill for the 2006 edition. Headliners Guns N’ Roses had already been confirmed and are undoubtedly the biggest name so far, but there will be many great bands to choose from.
More names to be announced shortly. In the meantime there’s no rest for the wicked as the lineup for this year’s festival is far from complete. At least 30 bands will be added to the bill.

Two audience favourites return to Roskilde Festival: Morrissey and Deftones
They are representatives of quite different decades and genres, but both Morrissey (UK) and Deftones (US) have always remained vigorous and innovative without ever losing touch with their very dedicated and enthusiastic fans.
Furthermore, there is good news for those eager to dance when Birdy Nam Nam (F) and Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso (S) deliver grooves and beats, while Free Hole Negro (CUB) and Marcelo D2 (BRA) spread tropical club atmosphere from the global dance floor.

KMFDM 22ND ANNIVERSARY
Message from Sascha K.
Happy 22nd Birthday KMFDM !
I woke up this morning and realized that half of my entire life has been KMFDM. (I am 44 years old, started KMFDM at age 22.) A very unique day indeed, even though a 22nd Anniversary in and of itself may not be so special...
In these past 22 years KMFDM have recorded and released many songs, more than I can keep track of, been involved in plenty of side-projects and played hundreds of live-shows.
I am happy with the way things have gone for all this time, I would do it all over again, no regrets. Currently things are looking great (as they almost always do...): we are in production with our newest upcoming release (the 9-track Ruck Zuck EP), a US tour is currently being booked and we are all busy in our various studios with exciting stuff and more "ruckus". Lucia and I are working on a new project together with Dean Garcia from the band Curve. In-between, I recently finished a remix for Combichrist, last week we mastered all the new material for Ruck Zuck, Jules and Steve are working on various mix and re-mix projects and Andy has interesting prospects coming up for South America.

Our touring schedule will continue in the near future, we have a very exciting line-up of bands for this upcoming round of US dates, details to be revealed very soon... So, things are well in the KMFDM camp.
I raise my glass to all of KMFDM's supporters over the past 22 years -
Here's to us!

2006 is the 30th jubilee of the city-partnership between Hamm and Bradford. And after the already fixed Hockney-exhibition in the Gustav-Lübcke-Museum another highlight from the British partner-city will come to Hamm: the cult-rock-band New Model Army.
The band is very successful since 1980 and is cult within their fans. Still after more than 20 years of career the band of singer Justin Sullivan is still independent. Their hits ‘Vagabounds’ or ‘51st state’ are real power-hymns. A few weeks ago, the recent album ‘Carnival’ was released and has been presented also on a tour through Germany.
