As the anticipation surrounding the release of the LACUNA COIL album, “Karmacode”, continues to build, centurymedia.com has posted a stream of the disc’s stunning first single, “Our Truth,” to tide over the masses until “Karmacode” is released on April 3rd 2006. Get on http://www.centurymedia.com/, European Headquarters and check the “Media” section.Lacuna Coil will officially release their new single “Our Truth” on March 6th 2006 (tbc for Benelux) on Century Media in Europe (UK March 13th 2006). The single will be available in different formats including the track ‘Without A Reason’ which is as exclusive to the single as the “Our Truth” radio-mix and the Jack Dangers remix. The accompanying video for "Our Truth" was directed by Fort Awesome, a brand-new directorial duo whose individual credits include Queens of the Stone Age, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Chevelle and more.
On some other news LACUNA COIL will embark on a massive six-week U.S. tour this March direct support to Rob Zombie. This trek, which kicks off in mid-March and runs through early May. The band also been confirmed to play at this years Download Festival at Donington Park in June (9-11th). With rock giants Guns N’ Roses and Metallica confirmed as headliners of Download 2006, LACUNA COIL will be in fine company at this years event with these bands having already been confirmed to play: Korn, The Prodigy, Deftones, Clutch, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, InMe, Within Temptation and Hatebreed across the three-day festival.

After the recent Covenant single “Ritual Noise” was taking the dance floors by storm and reached the pole position in the Germany Alternative Charts by kicking Depeche Mode from the throne, the Swedish threesome not hit even German Media Control Charts on position 64. The limited edition of “Ritual Noise” was sold out short after release. Also in Sweden the band hit the top 50. The album “Skyshaper” will be released on 3rd of March in Germany (6th March in rest of Europe).

Five contemporary and different examples of rock music in the year 2006 will play at this summer’s Roskilde Festival. Placebo make a stop at Roskilde ’06. The band has been a recurring guest on the audience wish list, and now they are ready to provide their decadent and eruptive rock to a yearning audience. Finally, we are proud to present four vital acts who all show that rock music is alive and well in the North. Finnish Disco Ensemble, Norwegian JR Ewing, Swedish Opeth and finally VETO from Denmark will push the party further. Roskilde Festival is about music, and throughout the years we have presented a wide-ranging list of musical genres. But the most basic and fundamental of all genres is rock which has been the source of a wealth of variations and fusions though the years. With these five names in the line-up, the festival in 2006 is surely no exception.
