Since the tour is already underway, www.inflames.com has been updated with photos from the band’s October 30th date with MOTORHEAD at Colston Hall in Bristol, England.
In other news, In Flames held "a listening party" for their new album, "Come Clarity", with media people and guests at the Storan Theater in Gothenburg. "For this special occasion, we made a 'rehearsal video' for the whole album that we showed to our guests," the band write on their web site. "Directing it was once again Patric Ullaeus Dimmu Borgir, Lacuna Coil, Patric and Anders [Fridén, vocals] worked really hard to get it done in time for the viewing and when the rest of us saw it it blew us away! Hopefully this is something that also YOU will be able to enjoy in the future — we'll see."

As the band write in an official statement:
"SUCH A SURGE gave us the opportunity to always follow our own path and create something that we always will be proud of.
Maybe the day will come, when we want to say something together again as SUCH A SURGE. But now we feel the need to start a new chapter. It's time to face the challenges of life separately. Through many unforgettable moments, SUCH A SURGE did shape us as human beings. So we didn't take this step lightly. But for the same reason we are looking forward very much to the farewell tour from Jan 26 to Feb 23, where want to rock out with all the fantastic SURGE fans and friends – because this always was and still is the greatest part! So whoever wants to go through those 14 years with us, from »Gegen den Strom«, »Silver Surger« to »Jetzt ist gut« and »Mission erfüllt«, should definitely come to a show!
We want to thank all those, who were with us all this time, who supported and believed in us! This we will never forget! "

Jon Oliva's Pain drummer Christopher Kinder writes on the group's web site. "This is going to be one twisted ride with some very dark lyrics and some very heavy friggin music!...YES!"
,, Pig-Pen Studios (which is basically the studio in my house). I had my garage professionally converted into a fully funtional studio, and while the six of us are a little short on elbow room, you would be amazed at what we get accomplished. "As some may already know, pre-production is being done at Oliva actually sits in the control room area with a good monitor mix and great isolation from the band. Did I mention that Oliva uses my clothes dryer for a table...? That's right, he sits right in front of my washer and dryer!...How funny is that? (I will post pictures in the coming days...We know you won't believe it until you see it for yourselves)."

Q: How are you? Have you had a chance to settle down a bit?
Tuomas: It is all very very stressful. I knew that it would be like this, so I could prepare for it a little bit. At the moment everything is really confusing for me. I'm waiting for the day when everything will calm down and I'm really counting the nights until a time when I won't have to talk about all this anymore. But I suppose this will haunt me for months."
