MAXÏMO PARK are in the starting blocks with a new album! ‘Nature Always Wins’ will be released on February 26, 2021 via Prolifica. After separating from keyboardist Lukas Wooller, Smith, Lloyd and English started looking for a new, fourth member last summer. In the best case, someone who could also take on the role of producer. In the end, the band found what they were looking for in the Atlanta-based Grammy winner Ben Allen (ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, DEERHUNTER), who was supposed to support the trio in the studio since spring. Lockdown restrictions did not make it easy for the band in the following years, which culminated in complicated online recording sessions across the Atlantic.- Details

Gothic Meets Classic 2020 with Lord of the Lost, Welle:Erdball, Drangsal and In Strict Confidence
Due to the Corona pandemic, the festival is postpponed to November 2021. Tickets remain valid.
The Gothic Meets Klassik Festival will take place in two locations on 20th of November in Haus Auensee and on 21st in Gewandhaus in Leipzig. Having in mind the fact the concerts in this season are scarce, it is definitely the news many people have been waiting for impatiently. Both locations were approved for hygienic and sanitary reasons to organize the events hence the concerts may take place in 2020. The bands who confirmed their participation are LORD OF THE LOST, WELLE:ERDBALL, DRANGSAL and IN STRICT CONFIDENCE - latter will present their electronic set (on Friday only). On Saturday the bands will present the selection of songs arranged with Philharmonic in Leipzig which will definitely allow to see their music from quite a different perspective.

Since the AUTUMN MOON Festival in Hameln has to be cancelled due to Corona, the organizers have decided to hold a small consolation festival at the Break Out club in Asendorf. On October 23-25 the Autumn Moon Festival would have taken place. Unfortunately, promoters had to postpone the normal edition due to the Corona pandemic. But they still want to conjure up a festival feeling and want to offer your music and their ambience to the great fantastic fans, that have not returned their tickets during this weekend. With the Autumn Moon “thanx mini edition”, a small festival edition in the north, they want to say thank you and ensure a little normality and festival experience.- Details

In 2016 virtuoso cellist Jo Quail released her 3rd album, ‘Five Incantations’. The genesis of the album started to seep out of the deepest corners of her mind whilst on a 4th tour of Australia in 2015. In her own words: “Whether practically this was due to an intense focus on music minus the day to day existence, the remoteness of being a mum away from my family, or the myriad other reasons I cannot guess, but I felt swept away by this sensation and immediately began to write what became ‘Five Incantations’. The album is a suite of interlinked movements, each individual yet essentially drawn from one theme. It has been recorded and will be performed at 432hz. Each movement describes personal reflection on one of the four cardinal points, with the fifth aspect being spirit.”- DREAM THEATER - To unleash new live release “Distant Memories - Live In London” on 27th November
