San Francisco Bay Area thrash veterans DEATH ANGEL, have released a brand new video clip for the track ‘Left For Dead’ at www.deathangel.us! The song is taken from the band’s recently released seventh studio album 'The Dream Calls For Blood', and comes on the verge of their upcoming tour with CHILDREN OF BODOM. Commented guitarist Rob Cavestany: "We would like to present to you our new video for the song ‘Left For Dead’ - the opening track off our latest record 'The Dream Calls For Blood'. Directed by none other than Tommy Jones at VideoHammer Studios, it is comprised of footage filmed at AudioHammer Studios in Florida during the recording of the album. After recently announcing to continue their very successful 'Circle' - World Tour, Finish Metal veterans AMORPHIS have just revealed their on the road support for the European leg. Faroese Doom Metal band HAMFERƉ has been confirmed as the sole support AMORPHIS whose 'Circle' - World Tour will continue in mid-March 2014. Commented HAMFERƉ guitarist Theodor Kapnas: “We're really looking forward to hitting the road again! The clear highlight of our last European tour was opening for AMORPHIS in Hamburg, which was an incredible experience for us. So we're delighted that we've been given the opportunity to open for AMORPHIS for an entire tour. Hope to see lots of people at the shows”.

With the release of its debut single ‘A Lifetime of Adventure’ coming up on February 07, 2014, NIGHTWISH mastermind TUOMAS HOLOPAINEN has now revealed the official music video on the track. The video was directed by Ville Lipiäinen and includes Mika Jussila's photos of Tuomas Holopainen and Don Rosa in the recording studio. You can watch it here. Commented TUOMAS: “The director, Ville Lipiäinen, and me went through some options of how to approach the video and soon agreed to shoot a sort of `making of` - clip of the song. The idea of someone dressing up as Scrooge McDuck, and then filming him digging gold and riding an emu on an Australian desert felt just a tad corny.

After announcing to start working on a new record in early November 2013, British progressive metallers THRESHOLD have now issued an update from the studio. The band is currently recording their tenth album at Thin Ice Studios in Surrey, England. Commented Keyboarder Richard West: “All the drum and bass parts have been recorded and work is now underway on guitars and keyboards.”
