21OCTAYNE is the epitome of soulful, honest, ass-kicking Rock with a slight modern touch. A new name, a new band, but no unknowns here: the band consists of vocalist Hagen Grohe (The Joe Perry Project), Marco Wriedt (Axxis), Andrew „The Bullet“ Lauer (Paul Gilbert) and drummer Alex Landenburg (Rhapsody). The four guys took their time and worked hard on their debut album for more than two years, ready for impact now! In the autumn of 2013, DEATH (DTA) completed a glorious trek: their tour left nothing behind but packed venues and thrilled fans!!!The success of this tour proudly displayed once more the huge influence DEATH had and still have on the extreme metal genre. In remembrance of front man and guitarist extraordinaire Chuck Schuldiner and his masterfully crafted songs, Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinert, Steve di Giorgio and Max Phelps played songs off of all DEATH albums. Since the request for more shows is rising constantly and not everybody managed to get tickets for the 2013 dates, DEATH (DTA) will return for a bunch of European festivals and selected club shows in June 2014. Australian progressive metal quintet, Voyager, will release its fifth studio album, V, digitally worldwide on 2nd June 2014. Physical releases will be June 2nd in Aus (Bandcamp exclusive) / UK (Code 7), North America (Nightmare Records) on June 3 and June 27th (MBM) in Europe.The 13- track, 54 minute album was recorded at Templeman Audio with producer, Matt Templeman.
