The title song of the upcoming EP is the result of a fertile collaboration with the band’s fellow countrymen NECRO FACILITY – unmistakably COVENANT but with a new flavour. A pulsating, hypnotic and extremely catchy club filler and a melody that, once heard, won’t soon leave your minds! ‘Lightbringer’ comes in a variety of versions, carefully crafted and chosen by the band members Eskil Simonsson, Daniel Myer and Joakim Montelius. Monday 27th September sees the release on Dark Essence Records of “Head Up High” the new album from Norwegian Metallers THE BATALLION. The eleven 11 track album is the follow up to the 2008 debut “Stronghold of Men” and was produced by Bart Schlagermeister (Bjørnar E. Nilsen) at Bergen’s Conclave and Earshot Studio, which Nilsen (VULTURE INDUSTRIES, BLACK HOLE GENERATOR), jointly owns with ENSLAVED’s Herbrand Larssen and Arve Isdal.
