Slut, The Strange Death Of Liberal England
The band began their career in 1994 back then recording their first album in a cellar with ‘For Exercise And Amusemenent’. Their melody driven, melancholic tunes with powerful riffs met with acclaim and attracted attention quickly. With the second album, now recorded in their new home, a castle, they continued on that, say, reduced part of their musical way but in a matured and refined manner that strengthened their overall standing and revealed the huge potential still waiting to be uncovered.

OMD
Talking about OMD (Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark) means talking about an important representative within the Synth Pop genre. In their early works it was more audibly than with most others that they had been influenced by early pioneers of electronic music KRAFTWERK. With the second album ‘Organisation’ came ‘Enola Gay’, a song that was meant to last, which even more goes for the evergreen ‘Maid of Orleans’ from the third effort ‘Architecture & Morality’. The track led the German charts for over 4 weeks and became their probably most famous song until today. But not always there’s been luck in the land of OMD.

Zeromancer
It is clear as crystal that ZEROMANCER from Norway have aspired to one of the highest regarded live acts in the past festival and concert season. Either as support for UNHEILIG or at a slot at a festival, the guys just left happy faces. Of course that could be due to their electrifying set of songs as well with the emphasis placed on tracks from their current album ‘The Death Of Romance’, seeing the band returning to their dark industrial rock roots even more than on the predecessor ‘Sinners International’.

SINNER’S DAY drew a lot of attention as a newcomer in the festival landscape upon 2009. The recipe of setting up a line-up of cult figures and acclaimed artists from the widespread genre of punk and new wave amongst others created a fascination that not many people could resist and which made last year’s edition more than a success.
