On 25th February 2011, Swiss band SLAG IN CULLET will release their sophomore ‘Splinter’ in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There is an audible development in everything since the debut album ‘Time To Explode’ came out. What a buzz it was that’s been created back in 2009 when Alternative Rock icon SKUNK ANANSIE returned from hibernation mode to the live outlets of this world with their European tour. Many at the time expressed their hopes this wouldn’t be the last live sign for the next 8 years, and obviously they were right. With the release of ‘Wonderlustre’, the band around Shannon Dyer finally released a new album that was rewarded with favourable reviews.

With the EoD Live Edition, the team at Matrix club in Bochum strives to combine the successful party series with special live acts before the actual party starts. For 25th February they’ve opted for a rather avant-garde program. It all starts with MONO NO AWARE. Apart from that being Japanese and translating something like “an empathy toward things” it’s the label for a German act that for eleven years now spreads its power noise mayhem amongst audiences all over the place.
