Sterneneisen Castle Tour 2011: In Extremo, Hassliebe & support
In EXTREMO is a German Middle-Ages-Rock band which was founded in 1997. The band consists of singer Das letzte Einhorn (Michael Robert Rhein), van Lange (Sebastian Oliver Lange / guitar), Die Lutter (Kay Lutter / bass), Dr. Pymonte (André Strugala / Shawm), Flex Der Biegsame (Marco Ernst-Felix Zorzytzky / Hurdy-Gurdy), Yello Pfeiffer (Boris Pfeiffer / Shawm) and Specki T.D. (Florian Speckardt / drums).
The texts of their newer albums come also as their instruments from the Middle Ages and the early modern times. Among the rest, the songs are written in languages like Icelandic, Swedish or also Latin. With their on the 09th of May, 2008 published album 'Sängerkrieg' they reached for the first time place one in the German album charts. Now on the 25th of February 2011 appeared their new album 'Sterneneisen' which also reached place one of the album charts. In spring the band goes on “Sterneneisen” tour and in autumn follows the castle tour which leads them on the 4th of September 2011 also to the Burg Trausnitz in Landshut.
