“Wüste”, the debut album from SEHNSUCHT, the noise/darkwave/ambient project from Maniac (SKTILIV, MANIAC/LILES/CZRAL, BOMBEROS, VOLUSPA, SEPTIC CUNTS, TOTENKOPF, VERNICHTUNG, STATUS FATAL, ex MAYEHM) hits the streets on the 8th March, on Cold Spring Records. Recorded in Oslo, Tokyo and Heptonstall, “Wüste” was engineered and mixed by Maniac and Andrew Liles (NURSE WITH WOUND, CURRENT 93), with final mix and postproduction also by Liles. Released in a 6-panel digipak format, track listing on “Wüste” is as follows.

The band has begun work for their upcoming third album in Sound Supreme studio, Hämeenlinna, Finland – the same studio where they've recorded the previous album "The Varangian Way". The new album, successor to the renowned records Battle Metal (2004) and The Varangian Way (2007), is due to be released still later this year. Metal titans Nevermore are coming over to Europe. Beside of some high profile festivals, they will also play a handful of headline shows with special guests Death Angel. Fans of the Seattle legend can expect to hear some new songs of the upcoming album "The Obsidian Conspiracy" which was recorded by producer Peter Wichers (Soilwork) and is being mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Machine Head, Arch Enemy etc.) right now. The album release is set for May 31st, 2010 in Europe and June 8th, 2010 in North America.

Sweden’s Thrash Metal act #1 returns with a long-overdue live DVD/CD release entitled “Road Kill”, just in time for their upcoming European tour dates with Slayer. The DVD features an in-depth, very unique “on the road movie” documentary, an intense recording of THE HAUNTED's current and up-to-date live set and the band’s recent promotional video clips as bonus. The intense live show was captured in Amsterdam’s Melkweg on February 13th, 2009 by Fabchannel and its sound was mixed and mastered by long-term band-producer Tue Madsen (Sick Of It All, Dark Tranquillity, Heaven Shall Burn).
