When in September the summer slowly is fading away and the first trees have the colour of their leaves change, the clock also strikes the end of the festival season, but it also is the time when the Nocturnal Culture Night festival is taking place. Situated in a picturesque environment; the culture park of Deutzen, it’s just a big pleasure to stay and enjoy some good bands with good friends, and this year’s line-up tops the last one easily. After last year’s cancellation, Johan van Roy now is ready to make the stage in Deutzen a boiling pot. A brother in arms comes with Claus Larsen aka LEAETHER STRIP and some good, old EBM dancing fuel for the crowd. Back to the medieval times it goes then with the minstrels of SALTATIO MORTIS, pulling you by the collar with ancient sonic storytelling.
Your rocking pleasure also has been taken care of with some Neue Deutsche Härte by MEGAHERZ, a good pinch of Rock’n’Sad with Swabia LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE or KLIMT 1918. Accession Records will be sending their newest signing SLAVE REPUBLIC into the race to provide the audience with a flood of fresh electronic pop music, and SENSORY GATE, who just released their astounding debut ‘Ianus’ at the end of January, are going to immerse the location with acoustically electronic intricacy. Lots of reasons to be there already, but there’s also plenty of things to do aside from experiencing live music. There’ll be aftershow parties to wrap up the day, movie showcases, readings and the popular medieval market. Last but not least, the autograph sessions will give you the chance to get your CDs or other stuff signed by your favourite bands and maybe have a little chat with themBilling
