Last year has seen the Area 4 festival growing more than ever before, and even more important had its edition closed by a titan named FAITH NO MORE. That is not to say this year’s presumably even bigger, return of the festival would not be able to come up with an equal hammer, which races down on us in the form of PLACEBO by many is considered as THE highlight. But there are so many more of them within the already confirmed bill. EDITORS are safe to be deemed one of them, definitely releasing a lot of energy into the crowd pushing them to rupturing reactions. BLINK 182 is the next not to forget, returning from hibernation into the bright lights of the huge Area 4 stage - an event not to be missed.
Also, the Area 4 will be the first in a couple of events in August to welcome no one less than QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Don’t you lose your nerves now for it’s not remotely the end of the line! Well-known and established acts such as MONSTER MAGNET, GOGOL BORDELLO or BELA B Y LOS HELLMSTEDT already now make the festival a rock highlight. Imagine how you think of it afterwards. The festival will also harbour a special event within its scopes with the festival soccer up where it’s, besides glory and honour, about a nice-looking award and free tickets for the Area 4 Festival 2011. Tickets
Tickets can be bought for 94 EUR incl. presale charges and a 5 EUR garbage deposit, refunded when returning the garbage bag and chip on the spot, at all ticket shops, online at http://www.area4.de/, http://www.eventim.de/ or by phone. 3-Days Festival tickets bought in pre-sale also include onetime free travelling to and from the festival with short-range transit within the scope of Münsterland rate incl. Unna as well as the VRR.
For mobile homes, caravans etc., a separate parking lot will be set up on the festival grounds which you’ll need a special badge to enter it. Only with this badge you’ll be granted direct access to the airport grounds. Due to the increased amount of needed space, this service is offered for a price of 15 EUR for each vehicle and limited to 500 vehicles. The badge is only available in pre-sale via the festival website
