WEEDEATER's previously announced "Nine Toe" tour - named after the recent accidental self-removal of frontman "Dixie" Dave Collins' via a shotgun cleaning incident - is now underway. Check out the March/April issue of Revolver to read the mini feature on Dixie's "5 Worst - And Best - Things About Shooting Your Own Big Toe Off With A Shotgun." The month long tour includes this year's SXSW, where WEEDEATER will headline the Tone Deaf Touring showcase this Saturday, March 20th. "Mirage" is the highly awaited new single from Lowe (Sweden). The song is a dark electronic pop track with a disco beat. "ABBA meets DAF in a darkroom while Bowie and Kylie are sharing a bottle of Soviet champagne in the bar", says Rickard (bass guitar). The release contains a single version, a pounding remix by Swedish EBM-band Dupont and a classic 12" extended mix. The music style is "pop noir", a mix between electronic rhythms, melancholic harmonies and throbbing electric bass. "Synth for dandies and dandizettes ", clarifies Tobias (synthesizer).
