Latvian dark death metallers Preternatural has posted online their new EP called "Cryophobia" for FREE downloading. In October of 2009 the band released their debut video "Cryophobia". Now, the so-titled audio follower is available through the internet only, and is absolutely FREE for downloading or listening. EP was recorded and mixed with the help of sound engineer Gint Lundberg at "Pentagon Music" studio in Latvia. It contains two new songs from the upcoming album, one song from the band's first demo record, re-recorded and re-arranged, and 2 live tracks performed in Riga, Latvia in 2009. Vocalist Serg comments on this: "Currently, we're busy with the new album making process, so this is a gift to all of you in order not to be bored, while waiting for the new album. Keep one metal!"

Prog rock/metal icons Dream Theater will spend their summer supporting Iron Maiden on the band’s month-long tour of major US and Canadian markets. The tour launches on June 9 and runs through July 20, and includes a stop at the storied Madison Square Garden in NYC, marking the first time in a lengthy and respected career that Dream Theater have played the world’s most famous arena. This tour will mark another milestone in Dream Theater’s history, which continues to expand and evolve twenty-five years deep.

HAKEN are arguably the most exciting sound to emerge from the modern progressive movement.

Formed in 2007, HAKEN is a virtuosic progressive rock/metal band from London, England, comprising some of the country's finest young musicians. Featured in the band are members of To-mera and Linearsphere. In July 2007, HAKEN showcased their music for the very first time to a packed out London bar with a great response, followed the next week by a sold out show at The Peel in Kingston. Within months of this double-debut performance, the band were billed in support of Riverside at Camden’s prestigious Underworld. HAKEN continued performing sets to packed houses throughout London and on UK tours in support of cult metal bands King’s X Bigelf, and To-Mera and continue to extend their fan base. One of the band’s demo tracks was featured on the cover CD for the second issue of 'Classic Rock presents Prog' magazine in 2009.

With the EP 'Endzeit' by MUNDTOT, a couple of rebellious young musicians present a debut that shows how it's properly done to even a few big names in the Goth scene. That the roots of the trio are to be found in Post Punk and New Wave can't be denied, just as them mixing elegiac, wave-ish guitars with Synth Pop hook lines, aggressive Punk rhythms and stomping Industrial elements. But MUNDTOT also deliver a message; they've got something to say. Their fury means power, energy and creativity. In a time where many already chose to resign, or to use aggression to scare little girls, MUNDTOT bring back a revolting, fresh wind into the scene. Maybe it's a privilege of youth? Either way damn catchy and great!
