New bands are added to the Summer Breeze 2010 line-up: death metal formation OBITUARY, black metal band DARK FUNERAL and the German APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER. Already confirmed were HYPOCRISY, SUBWAY TO SALLY and DARK TRANQUILITY. This year's edition is set on 19th -21th August 2010. ,In 2007 they made the Top 5 in the SUMMER BREEZE popularity poll. In 2010 they will make Dinkelsbühl lose their collective minds again: DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER! Three years since their last appearance at SUMMER BREEZE, our dear jokers from Thuringia are still synonymous with fun, party, energy and a very own, insane mix of various styles of extreme music, which they last showcased on the album 'Licht', for the first time getting the international recognition that DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER have long deserved. SUMMER BREEZE wants Reitermania!

Since Ada Flechtner has left the band to devote full attention to her studies, we have a new front woman. Lisa Lasch, 19 years young, at the side of Carmen R. Lorch (formerly Schäfer). Her mother is also a singer and Lisa has been performing in musicals in her hometown. CORONATUS is a German gothic metal band with two female vocalists. The new album is expected next month. The Metal Female Voice Festival, along with Midnattsol, Epica, Delain, Leaves Eyes, and Doro Tarja was a big success. We would like to thank the overwhelming response of fans and press from Europe to Japan. Even when our performance came to an end the audience responded with some "We wan't more" cheers. Thank you all!

Dutch project CHRISTMAS METAL SYMPHONY is forming a new line-up for the second edition. New guests are Simone Simons and Mark Jansen (both EPICA). Cristina Scabba from LACUNA COIL and front man Joakim Brodén from SABATON. The show is set on 20th December 2009, 013 Tilburg. The concept comes from Joost van den Broek (REVAMP): bands perform covers, and songs from eachother accompanied by the 'Magnus Opus Rockestra.' The presale already started. - Details
