BETH DITTO, front woman of the cult trio GOSSIP, will introduce her long-awaited solo debut album ‘Fake Sugar’ during a big European tour in autumn. Her new album leads her back to her Rock and Alternative roots and was released in June 2017. Since their foundation in 1999, she released five studio albums with GOSSIP and sold more than 650,000 copies in Germany alone.
Besides three gold-awarded singles reaching Top 20 of the airplay charts easily, they received triple-platinum with the single ‘Heavy Cross’. The band is heading for platinum in Germany with their last record as well. They sold more than one million copies of it in Europe. Now, BETH DITTO is moving to new horizons. Besides the launch of her new fashion line, she presents ‘Fake Sugar‘, according to her own words a Southern Rock album not sounding like Country music at all.
