HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD are a Rap Rock (used to be called “new metal”) band from Los Angeles, California, and they have been around since 2005. Their latest studio album is called ‘Five’ (or ‘V’), and has been released end of October last year. Some might denounce the band as being out of touch with the Zeitgeist, as the combination of rap lyrics with heavy guitar riffs has been immensely popular 10 to 15 years ago. Others might say that the spot for bands hiding their faces behind masks while playing is already taken by the guys from Iowa.
But HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD with their unrelenting work ethic have certainly developed their music further over the years, and have carved out a niche on their own. They toured extensively with bands like STONE SOUR, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, and AVENGED SEVENFOLD. They are also playing several summer festivals in 2018, such as the Rock am Ring/ Rock im Park Combo.
