Motionless In White, Cane Hill, Ice Nine Kills
Originally the Metalcore Goth band MOTIONLESS IN WHITE (MIW) was scheduled to play the cozy Luxor, but due to popular demand the concert had to be shifted to the more spacious Essigfabrik in Cologne. This is still a long bat away from their popularity in the United States, where they usually fill much larger venues, but this is not the first time it takes a bit longer for popularity to cross the Atlantic.
The roots of MIW go back to the year 2005, where the original band members met in high school and started playing music. Their major level debut ‘Creatures’ was released in 2010, which put them on the map of the American metal scene. Their latest album is called ‘Graveyard Shift’, and was released in May last year, and with ‘Necessary Evil’ contains a collaboration with KORN front man Jonathan Davis.
So be prepared for a full package of morbid sounds and visions, as MIW will bring two support acts with them, which should be enough to keep you thoroughly entertained on a Wednesday night.
