After another turbulent year with the release of a the new album ‘Outnumbered’ in April 2019, an US tour in spring and a whole bunch of concerts and festival performances around Europe, THE FOREIGN RESORT start 2020 just about right playing in January right away shows in Hamburg, Ilmenau and Cologne and a whole bunch of other gigs are in the making. The first festival confirmations for the coming year are also already out there - like the Velouria Festival in Montreal in March or the Amphi Festival in Cologne in July.
Creating music for over a decade now, THE FOREIGN RESORT are described as “outstanding Post Punk from Copenhagen” and we confirm - the Danish combo is a gem in the ocean of gloomy, dark music about the human struggles, abyss, emotions, hope, and everything in between combined with impulsive riffs and melodies that force to dance. For the shows in Hamburg and Ilmenau they have the wizards of Dark Wave and Post Punk THE GOLDEN APES from Berlin with them on tour. In Cologne THE FOREIGN RESORT are invited as special guests for the show of SOVIET SOVIET. Some magical, dark tunes for the cold-dark winter nights are ahead.
