hurricane2019 parkwaydrive RainerKeuenhofAttention: due to the Corona pandemic, all mentioned festivals are cancelled!

Sick of winter? Same here! Springtime has just started and it feels already like summer, even though everything is different this year because of the Corona virus. Nobody really knows if the summer festivals will take place… or at least will take place as currently planned. Anyway, we assume at the moment than anything runs smooth and get ourselves into the right mood for the summer festivals. Once again FKP Scorpio has come up with an exciting mix of music events: The party gets started at the new Limestone Festival, followed by the traditional Hurricane and Southside Festival. The season will be ended by Highfield Festival, taking place mid of August.

Limestone Festival

From now on, once a year, your new favourite club will open on Lake Moosburg, in the great outdoors and yet right outside Munich. With the exclusive Germany show by POST MALONE and some of the best acts of our time from Pop, Urban and Hip Hop, we present you a unique festival: celebrate and dance in front of the turquoise lake through the night. Recharge your batteries on the beach and experience a world full of pulsating vibes. Tens of thousands of hearts beat in time. In the middle of nature, in the middle of the club, in the middle of the music.

Hurricane Festival

The Hurricane takes place at the Eichenring in Scheeßel since 1997. Over the last years, the festival presented internationally successful artists, popular German acts and a large number of newcomers, of which some are today’s headliners. Since 1999, there is the twin festival Southside Festival in the South of Germany, which takes place at the same time and with the same line-up. Every year, more than 130,000 visitors from all over Europe come and visit the Hurricane and the Southside Festival. Such a success also is based on the continuous further development of both the Hurricane and the Southside, e.g. by new and more flexible and comfortable accommodation facilities or innovations regarding supply and gastronomic offers. Both festivals come along with their own radio station, the Beck’s Camp FM, that reports live from Scheeßel and Neuhausen ob Eck and provides year-round festival atmosphere as web stream.

Highfield Festival

After twelve successful years in Thuringia, the largest Indie Rock festival in East Germany has been taking place in Saxony since 2010. The site is located on the Magdeborner peninsula on Lake Störmthal in the municipality of Großpösna, which is only a few kilometres away from Leipzig and is conveniently located on the A 38. The event site offers plenty of space for the three-day festival with live concerts by national and international music greats. There is also sufficient camping space to accommodate the 35,000 Highfield fans of the past few years and more. If you like it particularly comfortable, you can choose from a variety of special living options that make music enjoyment even more carefree. However, relaxation is guaranteed anyway: the beach of Lake Störmthal can be used for relaxing or for other adrenaline kicks: the options range from banana boat and tube riding to test windsurfing, test (stand) paddling and beach volleyball. The soundtrack is provided by the festival radio Beck’s Camp FM - also available all year round.
