TOOL are returning to Europe for their first tour since the 2019 album ‘Fear Inoculum’. The tour starts on April 23 in Copenhagen, followed by concerts in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin and Cologne. “It's a great pleasure to announce our return live,” said Danny Carey. “The last 18 months have been exhausting to say the least, but great challenges can be learned and great things can be learned from. We really look forward to sharing this with you.”
Advance ticket sales begin on Friday, October 1st, 10 a.m. TOOL Army members can purchase tickets as early as 10 a.m. on September 28th. ‘Fear Inoculum’ (http://smarturl.it/TOOLFIa) was released in August 2019 after years of waiting. The album landed at the top of the sales charts in numerous countries, breaking all sales and radio records while also receiving critical acclaim. NME awarded ‘Fear Inoculum’ a full five stars and wrote that it was “... so much more than just an album”, The Guardian declared the release a “legacy album”, and Visions called the 10-track collection “a perfect version of a TOOL record” and Kerrang! said, “TOOL go beyond their own limits...”
TOOL were founded in 1990 and have so far released five studio albums: ‘Undertow’ (1993), ‘Ænima’ (1996), ‘Lateralus’ (2001), ’10,000 Days’ (2006) and ‘Fear Inoculum’ (2019 ). Also two EPs, ‘72826’ (1991) and ‘Opiate’ (1992), as well as the limited box set ‘Salival’ (2000). The band has won four GRAMMY Awards®: “Best Metal Performance” (1998, Ænima), “Best Metal Performance” (2002, Schism), “Best Recording Package” (2007, 10,000 Days) and “Best Metal Performance” (2020, 7empest). TOOL consists of Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals).
If you want to experience the band live, you have the opportunity to do so in April and May 2022, when TOOL returns to Germany for four concerts.
