Siouxsie and the Banshees - Tour 2023
Started in the 70s as a Punk band and developed into a Post-Punk and Dark Wave icon in the 80s, this is SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES. Together with friend Steven Severin, Siouxsie initially played as an opening band for SEX PISTOLS and got more attention in 1978 through radio DJ John Peel. Later, the outfit became boldly elegant and the hairstyle and make-up extravagant.
‘Hong Kong Garde’, ‘Happy House’ or ‘Dear Prudence’ and many other songs belong to her well-known songs. In the 90s SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES slid more and more towards the mainstream and in 1996 came the split of the band. Siouxsie took more care of her project THE CREATURES. Siouxsie has been going her own musical way since 2007 and will be back live on European stages in 2023 after a long break. On 4 May 2023, she will visit the Paradiso in Amsterdam/ Netherlands after many years.
