Originally from Kentucky, BLACK STONE CHERRY quickly made a name for itself on both sides of the Atlantic. It must be said that the band’s typical US Alternative Rock is a formidable efficiency combining sharp guitar riffs, catchy melodies and implacable groove. A formula that will allow them to sign, from their debut on Roadrunner, one of the most popular Metal labels in the world! Four albums later, the band leaves Roadrunner for the independent label Mascot Label Group. New adventure, new challenge and total freedom that will lead to the ‘Kentucky’ album, to date, their biggest sale (the album was even #1 in sales in England the week of its release!).
Last January, to the great displeasure of their fans, the band cancelled a part of their European tour - including a date at the Kulturfabrik - which was however announced under the best auspices! Last but not least, BLACK STONE CHERRY will finally be here this Tuesday June 19th!
