Attention: due to the Corona pandemic, the tour is cancelled!Finally, STEVEN WILSON announced details about his “The Future Bites” tour, which includes several shows in Europe in September 2020. Taking up the extremely successful tour of the 2017 released album ‘To The Bone’, STEVEN WILSON now performs eight shows at the biggest venues he played before as headliner: “Every time I release a new album, it is extremely important to me, that it gets a special place in my discography and is not only ‘more of the same’. We face the third decade of the 21st century, and it is my second decade as solo artist. That’s why I felt after a while to adopt the same philosophy to my shows. I want to challenge myself to create something that questions my own ideas and hopefully those of the audience of how I present my music in concert. This resulted in ‘The Future Bites’ - a series of Special Events at larger venues, something on a more immersive scale. My anticipation is extremely high!”
STEVEN WILSON’s latest album ‘To The Bone’ was released in summer 2017 and reached position 2 of the Official German Album Charts, further it entered the Top 20 in 15 countries. The following tour included 145 shows in 33 countries almost all around the world. There were three sold out shows at the Royal Albert Hall, and in total, he performed in front of more than 250,000 people. Currently, together with producer David Kosten (Bat for Lashes, Everything, Everyting, Keane), Wilson finally works at his new album to be released in summer 2020. To put the upcoming, special shows into an adequate frame, there will be a limited vinyl record edition of STEVEN WILSON’s next, sixth album.
