queens of the stone age germany2025Fans of the globally dominant contemporary Rock band had to wait six long years for new music, but in June 2023, the wait was finally over with the release of ‘In Times New Roman...’, the eighth album by QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Immediately after, the quintet - widely regarded as one of the best live Rock acts of the new millennium - embarked on an extensive world tour, which included three sold-out shows in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Düsseldorf in the fall. In summer 2024, the band returned to Germany for a concert in Hamburg, although a second planned show in Berlin had to be canceled for personal reasons. This concert has now been rescheduled for August 12, 2025, and additional shows have been announced in Munich, Stuttgart, and Bonn.

The legendary Desert Rock icons, founded in 1996 by their charismatic frontman Joshua Homme, have delivered a raw, uncompromising Rock masterpiece with their latest album ‘In Times New Roman...’, a return to their original strengths. They are the result of a multidimensional musical unit that transcends the genre they helped create. QOTSA is too productive, ambitious, and simply brilliant to be confined to a single category. Beneath the radical sound, there is an unmistakable response to the current music scene - rejecting the hype of autotune, sterile studio productions, and empty lyrics. This energy resonated powerfully during their world tour performances, featuring massive grooves, driving guitar licks, pounding bass lines, and Joshua Homme's unique vocals that balance raw power with an extraordinary sense of melody.

Alongside Joshua Homme, the band consists of renowned musicians Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore. Since their third album ‘Songs for the Deaf’ in 2002, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have been considered one of the leading Rock bands of our time. Other albums like ‘Rated R’, ‘Era Vulgaris’, and ‘...Like Clockwork’ are regarded as modern classics of powerful Rock music. In parallel, the band has established itself as one of the most intense live acts worldwide. While their previous album ‘Villains’ experimented with new, surprisingly pop-oriented sounds in collaboration with acclaimed producer Mark Ronson, ‘In Times New Roman...’ marks a return to their full-fledged guitar-driven Rock roots, cementing another modern Rock classic. One thing remains certain: when QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE take the stage, no T-shirt stays dry. Their shows are simply too powerful and overwhelming.

The band will be supported on these dates by the London-based all-female act SO GOOD, known for their unique blend of Brat Pop, Hip Hop, and Punk. The band has already made a name for themselves in their homeland and released their debut EP ‘Dogs’ two years ago.
