Thinking about a band like LETZTE INSTANZ you probably wouldn’t think of Bertingen as a place for a concert? But that is the way it is gonna happen on 12th July 2008. This is going to be a night of great music with them and other great bands just like THRUDVANGAR!

LETZTE INSTANZ
These musicians have always been synonymous with movement, departures and courageousness, the line-up having changed several times before LETZTE INSTANZ got together in their current constellation in 2005. The line-up, consisting of artists from Saxony, Bavaria and Berlin, is a novelty on the German music scene, last but not least due to their unusual composition, and together they are among the spearheads of the German rock music scene, relying not on short-lived trends but standing in the tradition of German-language musicians, striving for expression and independence. LETZTE INSTANZ have always opted for artistic independence and against flirting with commercial success. Last year’s album ‘Ins Licht’ (into the light) proved impressively that they are on the right path. High chart positions, successful gigs, and towards the end of the year a tour alongside SCHANDMAUL proved that LETZTE INSTANZ are among the most popular and original acts on the German music landscape.
NACHTGESCHREI
NACHTGESCHREI was formed in 2006. The members used to be in the former folk-rock band BLACK SHEEP and the melodic-death-metal band PAIMON. Their first album was released in May 2008 and it was called ‘Hoffnungsschimmer’. Since the band was founded, they played at different medieval festivals and this year, they will rock the “Rock unter den Eichen”!
THRUDVANGAR
This band was founded in 1998 by Thorsten (drums) and Christian (guitar) in Köthen. In 2002, their first EP was published (by themselves). 2 years later, they released their first “real” album called ‘Ahnenthron’. After that, they had different shows at the Ultima Ratio-Festival, the Ragnarök-Festivals and other locations.

Parking and Camping: Camping will be possible in the Indian Tipi-Village (1km from the festival area), for a little amount of money. Parking will be for free close to your tent.
