Following the publication of the album "Impressions" in the year 2006, the Berlin Wave project REBENTISCH released the new album "Intimität" at the end of 2007. Many of the recent releases are almost sold out and that's why a handful of already well-known title have been picked out, just remastered and arranged in a really wonderful new designed cover. For this digital re-released in May 2008 on afmusic, mastermind Sven decided to attach 3 more previously unreleased remixes from his archive.The result is an extremely personal album, which in addition to the melancholy "Single", the catchy tunes "Der Biss" and "Keine Zukunft" and the accusing "Ich spür den Tod", many other facets of REBENTISCH's music are brought closer. Other highlights are "Durch Dich" with a very hypnotic synth melody and an interpretation of "Kindertotenlied" from Friedrich Rückert (1788 -1866). In addition to a kind of radio play called "Kurze Story", there is also a remix of "Die by Echoes", which REBENTISCH made for the friendly project THE DARK UNSPOKEN.
Further more, the 3 remixes of JAN_SOLO and THE DARK UNSPOKEN give another perspective on the opus of the Berlin artist. With the single "Der Biss" (published in 05/02/2008) and the associated anti-discrimination-video, he positions himself against the absurd hatred against gays and lesbians in our society.
